![]() I used 3d Coat for the ground which has some great subdividing features, but I could not avoid some UV stretching in places. I had just spent sooo much time tweaking and re tweaking that it stretched into weeks.and weeks. It kinda comes with the territory, but as I am sure you know.you have to reach a certain cutoff point to preserve your sanity LOL!! Yes the more realistic you make things, the more those little parts that dont look quite as ultra realistic stand out more. Thanks for the feedback.all very good points too. This set is a place where I'd love to go spend a relaxing day!Įdit- and those flowers are absolutely stunning- my favorite thing about all of it! What I really like about all your work is the effort to put in details of things that would be there, aka, the pond indeed has the lily pads, the trees have vines that tumble onto the ground, the leaves on the trees don't follow a pattern, the list goes on and on. I'd like to see the lily pads have more depth and IMO the V section rims need to curve up slightly. I really like the flow of the landscape with the little hills and dips. I do agree about the ground, it looks stretched, on surfaces like that I simply add tufts of grass (only to the area that's in the camera view) and place foliage in the foreground which conceals more of the area since it's larger due to being in front. Thanks for sharing the preview, it's quite lovely. Maybe if I use them again in a smaller scene I will re model them a bit and make them more organically erratic Small compromises to keep the size down a bit. ![]() Its pretty easy to do, but I chose not to do that simply because the scene was heading up to 3 million polys.so I had to make a few However the original plant also had angles in the main stem as well. The pond looks lovely, I really like the big tree and the flower on the last picture.īelieve it or not tho, that exact leafy plant is growing at our house.I modeled mine off that one (actually a few samples)Īnd I did angle the leaves actually and also the shootoff stems, it doesnt show that much in the image 3 tho I know. Real leaves would differ, some pointing upwards, some downwards, bent, twisted, showing more variety. the Leaves of the vine-like plant in direct view are totally aligned in one level. There's one detail with some plants which can break the illusion really fast. I know, I'm nitpicking, with this lovely set, but. Magix-101 has been the original seller of 3rd party World Base Environments for Poser and Daz Studio, dating back over 10 years ago with WorldBase, World Base XT and Iray Worlds and many scenes that work in those environments.Īnyway I will let the renders speak for themselves, and happy to answer any questions, if anyone has any. See the Lotus in the Pond close up night scene as an example of how this looks. It also includes the Skydome and Sun from the Iray Worlds Skydome Pak, plus 2 extremely hi resolution Sky textures from those Paks as well.Īlso included are 2 new invisible light throwing Illumination spheres, plus a Magix-101 innovation, an invisible Skylight that can influence the entire hue of your scene. I have been working on this scene for several months, this is not just a highly detailed and realistic scene, it has many included extras such as 10 Pre Set Scenes, 15 Camera positions, plus Flower MATS and Tree Instance Positions as well. Hi I just thought I would put a post here about "The Secret Valley", that I am currently uploading for sale at Daz, this is a highly detailed and self contained scene that can also work with the Iray Skydome and also the "Superpak" for extreme versatility.
